It's morning

5:45 in the morning. THe sun is just starting to turn the sky rosy outside my library window. I ran errands yesterday and then sewed. And sewed. Then felt stiff, tired, and cranky - only to realise that it was 9:30 at night and there was no real reason not to go to bed and relax some. So I did. And was up at midnight. I've been sewing ever since. I have seven tunics of various sizes ready to have their necklines stitched up and then they are done. That's seven more than I had this time yesterday. And I _don't_ hurt from bending over the table during the cutting! Yeah, baby!

Only, gee... now that those are all sewn up, I have to cut some more, huh? Guess I should maybe get started on my *own* garb since I have to be on site my the 28th. What's that mean - that I should be packing by the 26th?

Close that chapter

I just sent an announcement to my local list letting folks know that I won't be renewing my warrant as MoAS. I *can* do the job, but truly - I don't want to. I was filling the position because we didn't have anyone to do it and I gots to tell you, my enthusiasm has waned. I keep wanting to do other things. So while we have a new crop of starry-eyed folks looking for a way to help, it's time to recruit.

Me, I have this other thingy I want to do...
