Once more into the breach, dear friends
After doing all that lego cataloguing stuff, what did I do? Built and photographed the sets that my Eldest left behind. They are from the 1998 "Adventurer" series and were all desert-archeologists looking at Egyptian treasure.
They are soo-ooo much more cool than the Indiana Jones series.

The BIG set
The front of the temple. I love that the wall inscriptions are lego people.
The back half of the temple - the little 'gem in glass' is magnetic and when it is disturbed, the wall behind swings around and exposes a skeleton. Heh. And the crocodile tables are a hoot!
