Pictures
I have taken pictures of my new building. There are 6 behind the cut.
The front of the building. Click on the picture and click again to get better detailing. For some reason, probably my lack of experience in phot-editing, I can't get a larger picture to load on this page and still keep good detail. I had a good laugh as I recognised the 'iron work' roof rails as being made from lots of single black feet from the skeleton-kits topped by a bunch of armorer's hammers. I can only shake my head in amazement at the ingenuity of the designers. I have no idea what that thing is on the top of the cupola roof - it wasn't a gargoyle like I thought it would be.
The back. I think it looks pretty real. I love the fire escape especially. I couldn't get a picture of it, but inside the backdoor to the apartment foyer there is a little rat hiding under the stairwell with a wedge of cheese.
Street view of the store. You can't see the door decorations in this picture, darn it.
Interior of the store, sort of. Notice the refrigerator unit and its vents? There's a vent in the back of the building to match it.
Second floor interior. The stairs that Mr. Top-hat is walking towards have windows to light the way up to the third floor. It is too, too, empty, even with the cat.
Top floor with a grandfather clock, rug, and a radiator under the window as the only furnishings. I am seriously considering pulling out my kid's leftover legos and making some furniture.
