The last gathering we'd planned on attending has been cancelled due to rising levels of infection in the area. It was a good call, but I am, of course, sad. We'd been holding out hope that it could go on given that it'd be in an open field and all attendees had been asked to be vaccinated and also screened pre-event. It would have been four days of reunion for my SCA household. But the Khan decided that it would be irresponsible to continue planning it - and we all agreed with her. Maybe next spring.

It was the only gathering/event that my spouse and I were planning on attending, skipping everything else that had popped up as possibilities.
