They talked to someone who either identified themselves as the Land Agent or the Camp Master when the second ticket - for each of the three cars - was written. They are required to do that. That no one in that camp knew anything about it - well. Saying it ain't so doesn't make it not so. I am not going to argue about it any further. I will make a note to myself to not post anything about the group in this blog.
