I know!!! And on top of our regular mugs we have the SCA-specific ones. I mean, I have (by myself) four ceramic mugs/cups which are appreciation gifts from Pennsic Mayors, friends I've worked with forever so even though our SCA life is waning, how can I part with those? Or the tiny bowl with a Viking ship on it from Pennsic something-or-other? A set of Mayors worked it out that each would give a piece of a place setting; pate, bowl, mug, and - ta da! - salt dish. I can't cull that stuff out, right? Even though I only use it at Pennsic?
And mugs from our sons. And two mugs from a dear friend who has passed away. I tell you, I'd rather get rid of our water and wine glasses from our wedding. We never use those anyway.
And on top of all of that, we have mugs we've given to friends in a Giftmas stocking, meant to stay in our home, which are theirs and signify that there will always be a place for them in our home. I can't cull those, right>
