That "Four Thing" Meme
Okay, I find that I am actually enjoying reading folk's "Four Things' meme, so I'm going to write my own. I guarentee it will not be as interesting as what I've been reading... I'm glad folks are writing this one!
Four things you may not have known about me:
1. I gave a son up for adoption when I was 19.
2. I always wanted to be an archeologist.
3. My swim team regularly took first place in state and regional competitions... I did 'dive', 'freestyle' and 'relay - backstroke'.
4. I had a radio broadcast of my singing when I was twelve... and never did it again.
Four jobs I have had in my life:
1. Publisher/editor of the Military Pagan Newsletter for a few years.
2. Navy Radioman 3rd Class
3. Assistant Manager of two different bookstores.
4. Navy Omsbudsman for USS Coontz and the USS Worden (twice, for the Worden)
Four movies I would watch again:
1. The Wizard of Oz.
2. The Sound of Music.
3. Victor/Victoria
4. Withering heights with Lawrence Olivier (*swoon*)
Four places I have lived:
1. Vancover Island, down the road from the ferry
2. Price, Utah
3. Yokosuka (and Yokohama), Japan
4. Pearl harbor, HI
Four TV shows I love(d) to watch:
1. Bones
2. Star Trek (original/Next Gen/Voyager)
3. Green Hornet
4. NCIS
Four places I have been on vacation:
1. The top of Mt. Kilauea (there was a military rec. base there before lava ate it).
2. Disneyworld - of course! HAD to take the kids before they grew up!
3. Dark, quiet mountaintops in the Rockies... cathedrals of Redwoods
4. the Painted Desert
Four favorite foods:
1. Berries.
2. Spumoni Ice cream
3. Grandma's gumbo
4. Steak. Oh yes.
Four places I would rather be right now:
1. Pompeii
2. Back on any of my mountain tops...
3. Luxor - maybe, or possibly Thebes
4. Chatal Hyuk
