More Wall

Well, I've hit the point I almost always hit just before a major event. Mind is numb, temper is fraying, and even the simplest thing seems too complex or overwhelming to tackle. (This is, btw, the same way I get if the barometer changes too drastically... which it just did). The only thing I've learned to do when this hits is to back off - sleep, read, anything but try to work on packing for a while. Then everything sorts itself out in my subconcious and when the timer goes off, I can function again - neatly, quickly, and efficiently.

But the Gods save me if I try to push it when I'm at this point. It's not pretty. And I have so much to do before I drive out of here on Friday. I'd skip my baronial officer's meeting if it weren't my only chance to see folks like Margret and Shilo...
