stitchwhich | SCA Royal/Baronage specific question

What kind of gifts do you like to put in gift baskets for the Royals or for new Baronage? Not so much your 'I am really into thisart or science' stuff that takes skill and training, but the little things that anyone could suggest to a newcomer to make or gather that would be appreciated. I can only think of one thing right now (I'm sure once the rusty wheels get turning I'll think of more), and that's packets of inventation cards for them to use for High Table... I made a bunch of those once and it was fun. As baroness, I always hated just walking up and asking someone - having the card as a memento seemed like a nice thing and it meant that the Royal/Baronal person could send someone with the note (thereby giving someone else a chance to do service).

I don't want to go anywhere near food items, especially hand-made ones, since as much as they are appreciated, in my experience they don't get used. One can only have so much flavored oil or vinegar, after all.

Clothing repair kits, yes?
*Really* well made little pouches, maybe? (as a gift or as 'wrapping paper')
Jewelry that they can give out?
braided cord suitable for hanging medallions?
travelling kleenex in their own decorated pouch or bag?

Ugh. My brain has flakes of rust in it. It's been too long since I've thought about this...
