Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned...
.... I've just spent four hours cutting out and then hand-sewing1 a child's hood & mantle - out of that trashy acrylic foamy stuff, with Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles as the print on it. And I'm hoping the child I'm making it for will love it.
1Why hand-sewing it? Because I disliked the idea of pulling out and setting up my machine for just that one tiny (size 6) item, and besides, I had to tack down each side of each seam so it would lay flat anyway, so what was one more trip up the seam before the two rows of tacking?
