Not that kind of "couching"!

Can you say, "weird"? I went out to lunch with Brigit and came home to find a three-section couch stacked very neatly on the lawn by the side of my house. My two neighbors who spend all their time sitting in chairs watching the road and chatting with the rest of us had both been inside when whoever dropped it off was doing that... so very strange. Could the owners not throw their couch away on their own property? Was there a special reason to leave it on the long side of my yard? I really don't get it. The "bulk disposal" scheduling lady told me that she'd never heard of such a thing and said, "the nerve!" then laughed when I told her that was my first reaction too.


How very strange. I think I'm glad whoever it was didn't have washing machines and ovens to get rid off too.
