Thursday nights

stitchwhichWhat is it about leaving for the weekend that leaves me unable to sleep well the night before the drive? I got up this morning after only a few hours of sleep, grumpy and almost-teary from the effort of resting, to start packing things so Arn could load them in the truck when he gets home. It happens every time I'm leaving and even staging things in the middle of the week (assuming that packing stress was the problem) just doesn't change it. Like a child, I guess I'm too excited/keyed up to rest.
Thank Arni and his coffee. He was up this morning and made a pot (fresh-ground organic beans) and had a half-cup left over for me. Since I rarely drink it, the caffiene rush along with a dose of Sudafed (allergies can sneak up on you) have really turned me around. Now I'm looking forward to the rest of the day!
The Del is finished. I even like it, black linen and all. If I remember to pack my camera and remember to get it out of the container once we get there, I'll get someone to take pictures.
