Marcel Marceau has passed on. He was a great man and I have remembered him with fondness for many years - he was a friend of my High School drama teacher and would drop in and do one-day seminars for us whenever he was touring in our area. He was a talented teacher along with being such an amazing performer and his kindness to those who were overwhelmed by his reputation was always a source of amazement for me since his friend (our drama teacher) was one of those nuns who had a low tolerance for timidity or awkwardness. They were a good contrast and their friendship was alive in every movement they made around each other.

Wherever you are, Mr. Marceau, I know you are bringing joy to those who see you.
