I'm on the computer because I had to leave the TV room. Arn was watching "E-Ring" and this episode featured the beginnings of a genocidal war between two tribes of folks in Rwanda. I watched the first five minutes or so of the opening bit, and began to get sick. Physically ill. I cannot even understand how such a thing could classify as "evening entertainment" and yet I just finished watching a show that featured a child being killed by her brother (CSI re-run). how selective is that? And how weird. Race/tribe/culture based hatred, even when "faked" for tv, makes me physically ill. (In real life, I get visciously sharp tongued and, if necessary, physically aggressive, to make it stop.)
I'm white. I've only experienced it as a victim once or twice in my long life. Why the heck does a tv show send me reeling from the room, still so sick that I can't get it out of my mind even after reading email?

Weak. That's what I am.
