better

"so when we say that it makes things 'better'..." it does. Arn went with me to the Doc's office and I don't know if it was Hubby Magic or just a more rested doctor but the appointment did not inspire frustration as my last few had. I get to go to PT and see if we can find something for me to do that will physically address the nerve pinch, we're keeping an eye on the possibility that it's re-grown bone that has encroached on the nerve stem and I have promised to take the pain and muscle relaxing pills as prescribed for the next few days and only then start taking them "as needed".

I'm loopy as all-get-out and all rested out too, so I think I'm glad I have lots of computer games at my disposal. Thank goodness for PopCap and Shockwave games. If I tried to do something useful right now Arn might wake up to his newly washed clothing covered in embroidery - even the boxers - because I *know* I have no sense right now. Good thing temptation is far away in another state. Or at least, I think he's in another state. That metro area is hard to keep the state lines sorted through.

Geez. See what I mean? Loopy.

Arn is going to Blackstone Raids while I stay home and help with a flea market table we're doing as a fundraiser for the barony. Another person is in charge but she's young and I want to make sure that she has truck-driving, cr*p-toting backup in case her volunteers bail. I can't load or unload, but I can at least get the stuff from one place to the other.
Arn woke me up for "Medium" and then, what do you know, it was a re-run. But by the time I decided that I didn't care if I was watching it or not, it was half-over and I realised that I was slumped in sort of a boneless Jabba-the-Hut pile in my chair. So I spent the commercial breaks roaming my body internally and enjoying the cataloguing of "it doesn't hurt here, it doesn't hurt there, it only sorta aches here... hey, I don't think I could sit like this a few hours ago. Nice drugs..."

I'm gonna have to be careful with that flexural. It's like booze, only stronger. I don't remember it being like that last time I took it but then - I don't remember much of anything from that time period.

Nattering. That's what I'm doing. I loved reading about everyone's ToC day. I was a wee bit ticked about Order meetings happening that we didn't know anything about in advance (two of my friends drove down just to drop off a medallion and then come home again to deal with some icky pet problems and both of them are in Orders that met that day. I know they would have stayed had they been given any idea that such a thing was happening. They've got strongly-developed senses of duty. I like that in a friend.)

Okay, stop now and step away from the keyboard. I feel like I ought to take 2 aspirin and drink a quart of water before I go to bed.
