Cheep Cheep Chirp Cheep

It's quiet. Arn got home from work this afternoon and was gone again in an eye-blink, off to Sky Anchor to do more building. With willing hands and some luck, the site will have permanent showers and new toities by Sunday. Not that we're holding another event there for almost a year, but even then, the work crews will love being able to bath after hammering and sawing. So - quiet. I finally realised that I haven't experienced this sort of solitude for over 20 years, and even then - not much. Every once in a while, the grandparents would take the boys for a while, but since I was an 18-20 credit hour student back then it just meant that I had time to sleep occassionally. Now, I'll go the weekend without seeing a live face unless I leave the house in search of one.  And when my house-bound live face gets home, he'll shower, smoke in the garage while talking on the phone, then come inside to go to sleep in front of the TV.

Weird.

Not bad, just - - weird. Guess I'm going to have to take up a hobby. Got any suggestions?
