yeah, it's barely 5am on a Sunday morning. But I don't mind that I've been up for two and a half hours - I got about 6 hours of sleep this afternoon and went to bed again at 10:30 (that's '2230' for you military-types) so got four more hours of rest before I woke back up. Ten hours! That's more than I've had on one day for weeks! I feel much more like I'm willing to let the rest of humankind live after all.
Shawn called this afternoon and asked if we were free for dinner so Arn and I and he all went to the Village Inn where we did what we typically do - had breakfast. I really don't think that 'breakfast' ought to be a mealTIME designator, it really ought to just indicate hash browns, eggs, meat, and some form of cooked grain (in my case, a buscuit. Shawn had pancakes.) Really. Isn't it actually just a form of comfort food?
A fighter's Practise with a bar-b-que is scheduled for later today. I haven't prepared a darn thing to bring. Meat isn't a problem but I should bring some form of side dish. And my latest hangerroc is close enough to finished that I can't bring it - I doubt that I'd have neough work to last for the whole afternoon. I'll need to do some fabric cutting. (I can't work on the needlepoint since I haven't got the main designs graphed out. They're frankly kicking my butt. I'm beginning to think that the original wasn't counted work after all. It just seems so wussy to draw a design, rahter than count the design, when working on even thread ground!)
