Great weekend

I had a great weekend - went to Holiday Faire and got to see some of my favorite people (didn't get to talk with them as much as I wanted to - I've got to get to more events!) and the only downside was the freezing cold temps in the "second building" that the merchants were in. Looked like it was the 'new' merchants (new to the Faire) and I'm doubting that many of them return - broken thermostat + low attendance (no sign directing folks to the second building) = poor sales and a day of discomfort. Sad really, because there was some really kicking merchandise in there. me, I had the warmth of friendship. Too bad it didn't save me from the cold that I developed by late afternoon. But it was still fun. Dinner afterwards with Geffrei and, and, dang it! I forgot Kat's SCA name again! Well, anyway, dinner was great too.
Arn took me to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on Sunday. I kinda wish I'd seen the two movies in the middle before I saw this one as I'm sure there were some movie-specific connections I missed, but all in all, I liked it. Poor Arn was a little lost in a couple of spots, which works out well - now he wants the books and I won't have to scramble to come up with part of his Christmas gift this year. :)

Zack's girlfriend, Melissa, called and left a message on my cell phone that they'll be in Va from Dec. 25-30. Yippee! It's got to suck to have to fly on Christmas but I bet the welcoming party will make up for it.

That's weird

I could swear that I just read an entry in a friend's journal - then I went to check on something on a different webpage, came back so I could leave a comment and it was GONE! *sniffle*
