Did you know?
Dec. 13th, 2005 12:41 pmDid you know that commercially made eggnog, even cut half and half with milk, is filling? And here I thought it'd be a good dessert after my latest experimental what's-in-the-cupboard dinner (Which, btw, is why I needed a non-filling 'finish'. Arn and I both over ate... Should you ever get bored with standard-family-food, add a can of diced tomatos, the spiced ones, to your mac&cheese along with some hambruger and fried onions. 'Twas good! honest!) Any way...
Did you know that a pre-Christmas tour of the nearest base Package Store (alcohol store) can result in spending half a hundred dollars? But boy do we have fun stocking stuffers.
Did you know that clothes left in a washer which lives in a nook in the unheated garage will be much dryer in the morning than they were after the 'done washing' buzzer went off while you were watching a good TV show that evening? What an easy way to save part of my heating bill. Laziness! Although... if you get them out of the washer too early in the morning, they'll be kinda - stiff. Better to sleep in and let the garage heat up a bit by solar power.
Did you know that those new flavoured Frescas are pretty refreshing? Yum. Almost as good as eggnog & milk.
