Today is the feast day of Dogmael (Dogfael, Dogwel) (6th cent.?) Dogmael was a Welsh monk who seems to have moved to Brittany for much of his career. He is still invoked to help children learn to walk.
So take a toddler for a stroll today in honor of a 6th century saint (who, btw, was probably "Celtic" Christian rather than "Roman", since it was another 100 years before assimilation...)
