Jun. 24th, 2006 07:54 amLives change. People change, sometimes into something you can't even recognise as the person you once loved. I'm grieving that has happened to someone I cherish.
Demo in a few hours. Yeah! I made 'beef eggs' because my Baroness is going to be there and she likes them. The last time I made them at her request, I used Knorr bouillon and it was horrible. I was stunned. Whodda thunk that cheap beef bouillon would be better than the higher-end stuff?
I'm doing the food demo again. Something tells me that this time the library won't be as empty and I won't have the garb-sewing time that I had last Saturday. That tunic is nearly done. I've been embroidering on Gwen's tunic at home since it requires the use of a stencil every few minutes (the chalk doesn't last long on the dark green) so my own clothes have taken a backseat unless I'm out where a stencil won't be easy to use.
I'm on water and soft stuff (soft to the tummy) again. Woo. Looks like my new meds and carbonated beverages do not mix. And perhaps neither does onions/garlic... I'm not sure. But another day of 'feel like hell' happened yesterday so I'm taking it very easy today. I needed to wean myself from sodas anyway. Looks like I didn't listen to the small, still voice so now Mom and Dad have pulled out the big guns. Ouch! I hear Ya. Honest!
A lovely day. I'm going to change into a Del and go be a Mongol. At the temps and the humidity that we're expecting today, not to mention the thunder/lightning/showers this afternoon, I decline to wear a two-layer gown and then try to help take down the equipment... pants are in today's plans since I'm not very good at changing in a _public_ bathroom. Not when it takes so much effort to put my danged shoes on! Bend-ability. I need to keep working on that. Huff, puff!
