Arn and I are in Florida for the next few days while we wait to see if his mother is going to survive two strokes. It doesn't look good and as happens so often in a family, half are of the 'no extraordinary means' persuasion while the other half are 'keep the body going no matter what' so poor Arn is in for a lot of emotional pain. I'm just trying to be here for him.
The trip down was longer than we expected. The truck refused to start in some little gas station in Georgia but AAA got us a tow truck in *20* minutes and we were at the local WalMart (only thing open) under an hour after the failure. I could wish that it would have taken less than 3 hours to get it fixed, though. But we were lucky they had a battery to fit our truck in the first place.
We have internet at the hotel. It's odd, and unsecured, so I'll only be checking mail if I get the feeling that something really, really important is burning. Arn isn't going to use it at all - his focus is elsewhere.
We'll be back sometime Weds. night/Thursday morning.
