Medical question

Has anyone had that weird procedure where they drug you and then stick a camera into your stomach? I'm trying to decide if I want to go through with it or cancel. Yesterday's appointment was with a doctor who really only listened to his own inner dialogue before he ordered the test and I'm loathe to waste the time and the insurance company's money... and I admit, I'm vexed that the man didn't really *hear* me - just dismissed the bits that I'd been worried about and continued with his monologue before scheduling the test. I have a strong gut feeling to cancel it and am trying to over-ride the feeling with reason.
