Need to create a website

Someone I counted on to create an event website for me isn't able to so I've decided to attempt it myself rather than embarrass them by publically asking for a new webpage creator (you all know how HTML-phobic I am!). So - please save me and suggest websites/hosts that are easy for dummies to set something up on. All I need is to have a page that says, "Here's what is going on at Inter-baronial Twelfth Night". I'm feeling horrid that I don't have anything available to spark interest in the Artisan's Row and the dancing and games.
