Well, there's the keyboard
Nov. 27th, 2006 11:57 amI don't believe that I really have anything to write that is of interest. We spent a lazy weekend, sleeping, mostly, and lolling about at the Urgent Care clinic for four hours or so (for Arni, this time, poor guy. I'll be seeing the Doc tomorrow in what is beginning to feel like the "Never Ending Abscession". Pah!). I bought new shelves for the soon-to-be Craft Room and both sets are now loaded with SCA-stuff, which arrangement is only logical to me and will surely baffle my husband. I maybe the only person who finds it reasonable to designate the shelves at arm-level as 'where we put the dishes we always take to events" and "Terri's ongoing projects". Right in the middle of everything else, which go above or below those shelves depending on how often I think I'm going to need them. Things used rarely are on either the top-most shelf or the bottom-most. Because those are the hardest for me to reach. So okay - my logic.
I'm calling a local 'someone' (Salvation Army, Goodwill, I don't care) to come take away excess furniture so I can finish loading up the craft room with stuff. Currently, a box spring and some chairs are in my way and were it not that the bedparts are too wide for my car, I'd deliver them myself! I want them gone, gone, gone... I've given the owner over a year to let me deliver them and now time's up!
Edward was a dear, sweet, man and brought over ALL of his Liadan Chapbooks and a hardback in the series that I had not read before. That may explain the lazy weekend. And they're all read now... *sigh* I love 'backstories'.
Leftovers are nearly gone, dishes washed and put away. Except for the excess Cool Whip (gasp! Blasphemy!) in the 'fridge, you'd never guess there'd been Tahnksgiving just a few days ago. I'm heading out later to buy some good red meat to add to my stockpot for a new stew. We actually finished off the old stew one day and I have to start all over. But this is good - all the veggies left uncooked for Thanksgiving are finding a home this evening.
So that's it. Domestic-ness.
