Yesterday (Okay, well, Thursday) I taught a class at our Activities Night - an overview of clothing embellishment designs and techniques for Europe 540 - 1600. It was fun. I ended up with 20 minutes at the end of the visual presentation and couldn't figure out why... it wasn't until I got home that I remembered I usually went over the hand-out instead of just leaving it on a table. Opps. Been too long.

Next Tuesday I'm teaching another class for a totally different set of folks - Religious symbology and how to use it to empower oneself throughout the day. Too often folks get set in ruts of faith where they believe that they need a this or a that in order to reach their Deity. This class shakes that up a bit and reminds us that all things are simply symbols - keys to the unconcious - which we choose to use in order free ourselves to talk to God/dess. The class is fun and I'm looking forward to the challenge of addressing a varied audience rather than Wiccan-specific folks. It's being held at an "All Faiths" church down at the Beach. I already know that two 'fung shui' folks, two Christians and one "New Age" person are signed up for the class. Trying to teach the material to people from extremely varied and in some cases, unknown, faith-paths is going to be challenging. For the most part, it is straight Jungian psychology but... I going to enjoy myself.

And then I'm going to start getting my kit together for MTA.

We went to a Karaoke bar tonight.
See, it's all about the challenges....
