The Post-Pennsic "Friends" resuffling makes me meloncholy. I wish everyone I love or respect could go back to how they felt about each other a month ago, or two... hyper-stressful emotional dark holes such as the month of August is for those in the SCA makes changes that, well - do no one any good and cause a great deal of reverberating harm down the years.

Do you think an appeal to our Higher Selves, our loving natures, would do any good? In the great timeline of our existances, couldn't this be a mere blip on the measuring tape of life or does it all have to be so acrid, so hateful, so unforgiving -
