Arn and I went shopping together at "Total Wine and More", which means that we walked out with all sorts of cider for tomorrow (Scrumpy! They had Scrumpy!) and then we took a deep breath and braved...da-da-da-DA...the Commissary. On Thanksgiving eve, after dark.

Yes, we could qualify as "insane" except that I knew our purchases would be below the 'fast checkout' limit. Come hell or high water, we were not standing in line (which wrapped completely around the front and the dairy side aisles of the interior).

So how does that make me a Bad Lady? Well, see, there were a lot of kids parked in/by shopping carts while their parents darted in and out of crowded lanes to grab things. And one cart featured a set of boys, approximately 4 and 8 years old, with older boy taking the 'privacy time' to pummel his little brother in the side like a piece of machinery pumping out stamped cards. First, I caught his eye and he paused. Then resumed. So I said, "Cut that out!" and after he stopped and I walked away, sure enough, he started again - because he didn't think about peripheral vision, I guess. So I pulled back, asked where his parents were, found the mom (who didn't speak English and needed a fist-meets-palm description of her child's actions) and left her chewing the eldest out in no uncertain terms. She nodded a "thanks", I nodded a "I'm sorry" and on we go...

But as far as Eldest Boy is concerned, I'm a Bad Lady.
And I can live with that. :)

Arni's gone for the evening and I've just watched two episodes of "Heros" thanks to online TV.

That is far, far too addictive.
(The watching, not the show... I watched an episode of "Bones" before that!)
