A Notice to my Friends (and non-friends)

We all know that KASF 2008 is coming up this weekend. And then it will be over and I will sleep the sleep of the weary. And while I am doing that, a lot of folks will feel inspired to post here, and on email Lists, their observations about the event. And a tiny portion of those folks might be tempted to be less than honest about how they felt about the event because I might read their comments.

Please be honest. Fully. I'm not hosting it again and whoever is will gain more by the negative comments than they might from the positive. A lot of what we're doing this year comes from three year's worth "I really hated ____" that I and others saved up. So don't feel you need to spare my feelings. I want to know, and to share, what needs tweaking, what worked for you and what didn't.

That's how good annual events get made.

Hahahahaha - Do What?

A friend from the MidRealm just wrote to me. Seems a Laurel there is on her case because she hand-sews her Viking era/Dark Ages garb. She's being advised to at least "hide the stitching" if she can't bring herself to use a sewing machine.
