I looked at some pictures from our recent Crown Tourney. The ones that really caught my eye and made me smile were of Queen Kari 'modeling' her new shawl. She looked so delighted with it. I love that.
I missed our demo - I slept through it and woke up 20 minutes before it was scheduled to be over. *sigh* My sleep rhythm is a mess.
The Cook's Guild, 4 out of 5 of us anyway, got together yesterday and went through all of the cooking kitchen equipment that Marinus has, sorting (and in some cases, cleaning. Ewww!) and tossing. Then we loaded ourselves into my SUV and off to the stores we went a-viking, to return victorious with new serving ware and good replacement equipment - and two lockable trunks to put the 'always goes walkabout' stuff in. Oh, and quite a few packages of heavenly-smelling greasy-spoon chinese food from our favorite local eatery.
Today, I shall inventory everything belonging to the barony that is piled in our library so the Quartermaster can have an updated list. Then we can load it into the truck and get it out, out, out of our house! Until next time, of course. :)
