Um, Wow

You may think it odd, but I don't want this. I do, however, admire it. And I love carousels - but the more delicate "exact miniature" sort. I'll stick to castles and city buildings. :)

I have spent the day hand-stitching a surcote for Arn and I don't even know if it will fit him. He spent the day, along with Opi & Anne, refurbishing Anne's pavilion poles as well as the baronial camp shower fittings (for that, Ivarr came over to help). So until a few minutes ago he was covered in sawdust. I'll find out if it fits tomorrow.

It was a pleasant day all around. It has left me a bit head-achey from the stitching. I end up looking under the rims of my glasses and focussing real close. Now my eyes feel as though I've held them crossed for hours.

Sam & Melissa gave me a lego castle set in thanks for making her new gown. It's so cute! And Zack called. It was nice to chat with him and hear his news.

And I ate a cheeseburger. Ummmmm..mmm... no pain in the jaw.

It was a good day.
