I went from 'la-de-dah, life is rolling along" to "too danged much to do and not enough time to do it in". Luckily, all my deadlines are up in 9 days. Unluckily, between now and the 22nd I have to:
- Go to an event this Saturday
- Run a Letter of Intent commentary meeting on Sunday
- Make three scrolls*
- Sew five gowns/tunics and two herald's tabards for court
- Craft one new set of Norse Brooches
- Cook food to freeze for Medieval Hauntings event
- Reorganise our camping kitchen stuff for that same event (I need to find a sealable container for the dishwashing soap so it will stop oozing all over the ziplock bag the current container is stored in, beause that is just plain ookey to fish out of there.)
- Have a couple of medical procedures that are scaring me silly (there's no reason for them to do so save my own over-eager imagination) and will be a bit debilitating.
- Fast for 24 hours the day before the medical procedures. And take, um, a 'cleansing agent'. So I should probably write off that day, yes?
- Do enough research on medieval saints and feasts that I don't keep scrambling to get the daily blog written.

Oh, and read a 230+ page book on Manx naming practises so I can come up with a new name for the reviving (living history) Manx Camp and get back in a timely manner to the linguist who is helping me with that. And write its constitution, then get it out to all the new members for approval.

But other than that, life is lazy.

*I have crafted maybe three scrolls in my whole life, having only done basic promissaries. But I think I can get these done, and done well enough to satisfy my standards. It's the calligraphy that has me a little nervous. And the deadline, of course.
