Oct. 21st, 2010 12:10 amSo far, I have learned:
Magnesium Citrate is absolutely horrid to drink but if one must, the lemon flavor can be choked down fairly easily if one has a bottle/glass of one's favorite drink in the other hand. (I had Diet Pepsi. The carbonation helped clear the flavor from my mouth.)
The effects of 10 oz of MC and 4oz of whatever that other stuff is has been not as bad as I expected. And that other stuff (dry measured and added to 32 oz of fruit juice) is tasteless. Thank you, God.
"College Inn" brand chicken broth (in a can) is downright yummy. Like, "I would fix myself a cuppa even when I'm not fasting" yummy. Progresso's beef broth - not so much. I wish I'd purchased more than one can of the chicken stuff.
One can avoid getting crabby, grumpy, shakey and cry-ee by drinking a hot cup of broth. I wish I'd done that before I read LJ ealier today.
I'm tired. I need to pack and I need to work on a scroll, and I want to sleep. I have to be at the hospital by 6:30 in the morning.
