Computer ordered
Jan. 20th, 2011 07:39 amWell, I did it. Thanks to everyone's comments (especially the suggestions about a refurbished machine), and a lucky find online, I have ordered my new computer.

For the price, I just couldn't beat it. I'll have to save up to get a smaller netbook but for now, I can use the laptop that I am typing on. It is, after all, a good machine, it just needs to be stripped down to the essentials and then built back up. And after 8 years (we bought it in June of 2003) and far too many trips to Pennsic, I imagine that it would really appreciate a good, thorough, vacuuming inside.
