(no subject)

~ I am now walking like Hopalong Cassidy. The swelling has mostly subsided but the knee isn't real interested in taking weight while bent. I'm not forcing it - even though I feel like I should have port & starboard lights on whenever I walk anywhere. *list* *roll* *list* *roll*

~ Our dryer decided this afternoon that producing hot air was a skill best left to politicians. Since there is an event this Saturday, and we're hosting guests this weekend, we won't be getting it repaired until next week. Oy. I'm already behind on my laundry!

~ I actually feel more energetic now that I'm on medication for high blood pressure. That's weird to me, but I appreciate it.

~ The admin part of my Herald's job is kicking my butt right now, as I should have expected for my first real gig. So I'm going to be late in getting things out. But they will be done right, by golly! Or as right as I can make them. And the next set will be easier to do.

~ I volunteered to autocrat an event next fall. I am crazy.
