Jun. 1st, 2013 06:53 pmWent to a relaxed bridal shower, which was much happier than the one-hour drive just to get to the tunnel on my way home (time from tunnel to house hosting the shower = 15 minutes). Arg. Cardiac event in the middle of the stop & crawl traffic did not thrill me. It always alarms me even though I know that the palpitation is minor and that a little nap afterwards will put me to rights. (Wolffe-Parkinson-White syndrome. Pretty darned boring and 'safe', as these things go, just a 'leftover' thing after the doc cured the main problem.)
I think I was more stressed about forgetting to use the restroom before I left and then being stuck in traffic. Man, I hate that!
So now I'm home, fed, and I'm going to go take that nap.
(It was a very nice shower. And DeeDee sets a wonderful party spread.)
(And we wore teal. By accident (me) and on purpose (everyone else) because the Bride-to-be loves that colour and after all these years I was too dense to notice. But I know now!)
