Today I
1- Did some home accounting work
2- Cleaned out ALL of my email folders of unread or too-old messages
3- Drove to two different restaurants to grab dinner because neither of us were willing to cook a darned thing
4- Researched medieval recipes that were basically applesauce (there is a 'morning pudding' style one I want to try, and an apple & cheese tart)
5- Finally got caught up on establishing an account online as a volunteer in a local historical site so they can track the classes I attend & the hours I volunteer.
6- Got reacquainted with the SCA's OSCAR and commented there until it stalled & wouldn't let my latest comment post.
7- And tried out my new shampoo, which is so much nicer than the new-to-us brand we bought a couple of weeks ago. That stuff striped the color right out of my hair, dried my scalp, and I think may have been causing me to shed more hair than the normal amount.(I used a 'washes out' hair color last July before we left for Pennsic. I had done it the year before and some of the color was still in my hair this year but this shampoo stuff - all of the grey hair that had been colored is now back to grey, after the first use of it.)

And I posted a scree on Facebook about being guilt-tripped over "not doing enough for the SCA because I was a Peer and owed more". Apparently, according to the post I read on our kingdom's page, Peers are directly responsible for the reduction of membership [note: membership numbers are not going down.] because they are not doing enough to support the Society. I was tired and feeling achy from ague before I read that post and it hit me in the feels, as they say. Being raised both Catholic and Mormon, I am terribly susceptible to guilt.

But things are all better now.
