Mar. 5th, 2018 03:24 amYesterday was our Kingdom Arts and Sciences Festival. It was in a building we've used two or three times before. It seems that we still haven't figured out an efficient way to use it yet. But as usual, it was a good event. Our King and Queen didn't bother to attend but our Princess was there and was able to hold Court and give out three Kingdom awards, the Silver Nautilus, which "honors and recognizes those who have distinguished themselves by an extraordinary achievement in the Arts and Sciences." I was overwhelmed by the things on display. One of our friends was faster than the rest on getting pictures up on the web. You can see them here: https://www.facebook.com/llwyd.aldrydd/media_set?set=a.1777629098962508.1073741930.100001463066642&type=1&l=f88194b8c5 .
I made quick appreciation tokens for the event - I should have thought of it much earlier - and they are below. This is my first attempt at entering photos into Dreamscapes, so I hope it doesn't come out huge like some I've seen on my reading list. Yeah, they are modern but I am not too ashamed about it. Heck for the last two years I've been giving away lego knights and medieval bandits. But mostly, I just couldn't force myself to buy more beads. That's been overdone. One of our Viking-persona Laurels gave out cowrie shells. I don't know how many people would be aware of how perfectly accurate that is, but I was. Nonetheless, I gave her one of mine - a yellow owl.

This wasn't all of them but it was enough. This was, btw, the project that had me grumbling and cussing about using a hot glue gun.
