Just a general observation brought to you by the hour 2:00 am.

[Add-on thoughts. Disjointed. I'm sleepy. A bunch of statements make a post. Whatever. You know.]
It is 4:15 now and I've been thinking about our Barnacled Bullfrog event in September. Trying to gel which activities we'll offer. I know we're going to sponsor a soft-weapon bar brawl (so a person can make a soft parrying weapon suitable for use on the field but first use it in the bar brawl... and maybe win a prize by acclaim.) I want to have differing gamesmasters run some gambling - gotta contact Rabah's Karavan but I also want to see if other gamemasters in the Kingdom are interested in running one or two tables for a few hours. We're providing "coins" so folks can really gamble and do it legally. Got a line on the darts for the dartboards. (Wooden ones. That levels the playing field and the darts themselves become the prizes.)

What is the name of that tug-rope game where two people stand on little wooden platforms and try to pull the other off via the rope they are both holding onto? I know we're going to have that but it'd be nice to have a name for it!

We're going to play a rope game introduced by a past Baron of ours, Miles of Falconhold, just because it's fun to watch even more than it is to play... it's a couples-competition and very jolly.

I've been googling "tavern games" and "medieval games". That's not bringing much up. I think I'll try "village games" and see what that gets me.

I wonder if "spin the wheel" (roulette) would be worthy? We could offer exotic sweets (chocolate) for the prizes, maybe.
