My resolution
Jan. 1st, 2011 02:48 pmIt thought about it, and thought about it, and finally decided that this is the only way to issue such a challenge to my friends... I have to try it too. So even though I'm not Christian, I'm adopting this as my New Year's resolution.
Because (in case those of you who are not Wiccan didn't know) we too honor the man as a good teacher and a Child of Diety. And certainly his example is one that we'd all do well to adopt.
Can you stand up to the challenge? (And for my Christian friends who say "No, I'm not doing that." - Why not? No, you don't have to tell me.... tell HIM.)
(Yeah, I know I could be read as being belligerent - I can't express emotion via the printed words as well as I'd like. But really, think about it. If your gut reaction is rejection, you need to ask yourself "why" that is so and decide if you are comfortable with the answer. And if you'll be comfortable standing before the Throne and explaining it too. It's true, "Lose 5 pounds and be on time for my appointments" may be a more typical resolution for the New Year, but where's the stretch in that?)
