I did not qualify for the study. Why? Because the test on my mitotic rate indicated an even lower score than the one done post-op. OHSU says my rate is 1/50. That is fabulous. It moves me into "moderate risk" of a resurgence of tumors, and the latest information about the treatment is that I should be able to control that with my soon-to-be new daily dose of medicine.

I'll still have to do CT scans every three months and all the bloodwork and such. Tomorrow I see my oncologist and start - finally, finally, I'll be in treatment.

In other news, my new Nook arrived, I changed out the memory card to a larger one, bought a set of "The Works of Louisa may Alcott" and now... I'm going to bed. Because even though I DID get 8 hours of sleep last night followed by a 4-hour nap after my test-news this afternoon, the reduction of stress and worry is such that all the sleep I missed over the last two weeks is demanding its turn now. Or so I think. Why else would I be sleepy after getting 12, twelve, hours of sleep?

I'm so relieved.
