Pushed out of a funk

I was sitting around doing nothing (painting boxes to give to our B&B so they can use them as gifts) and was working myself into a pretty good funk, thinking of friends that I used to chat with two or three times a week and now never call or hear from - our paths have split and their livesare too busy. And that was making me sad. (Or maybe it was the paint fumes.)
Then Brigit called and said she was on her way over to finish painting the craft room and the Gawd-Awful Closet. And Arn walked in the door from work...
Out! Went the blues. On came the grins. And while the boxes are still only partially finished, I did get another bag knitted and a new one started. I love playing with the medium and seeing the difference that a color change can make to the overall pattern. It's like grown-up's coloring books with twin pages.
