Once again, a question that periodically baffles me has bubbled up to my thinking mind. I'm putting it behind a cut because it's all about tres amour...

Why is it that in our American culture it is perfectly understandable, 'manly' and right somehow, for men to frequently daydream or pursue two-women/one man sexual encounters while the reverse is verbotten to women? I ask, not because I'm unaware of men-always-daydream-about-sex or the desire to feel studly, but because I'm baffled about how something could get turned around so completely - men are, well, "one or two shot" climaxers (with a few exceptions). Women are, well, capable of tearing the ceiling off with their fingernails for the whole night, taking a nap, and doing the same for the rest of the day.

So how has our culture created a situation where a woman 'should be ashamed for being perverse' when she day-dreams or pursues an encounter that might actually wear her out while a man is encouraged to daydream or desire one where he will be done long, twice as long, before his partners?

As it were, and yes, I know that climaxes are certainly not the only form of sexual enjoyment. Work with me here. It's an idle curiosity and I should end the post with "You know?" in a lilting voice.
