and that brought back such good memories that I went and found this:

and now I want to dance. Or sing. Or something. We brought our children up on that soundtrack - one of the best interpretations of Christ's mission that I have ever seen... when it was first released it inspired my (then) financee to convert from his Moslem path to Christianity (although he never got to - he went home for summer break and his family in Tehran took care of that).
Did you know that the guy playing Simon Peter was a law student? He got involved in theater for the extra class to round out his curriculum and got tagged for the part - then went back and finished his degree.
I love that production. Arn and I saw it live at the Sunken Gardens in Berkeley a few years after the movie came out - same Judas, Jesus, and Herod. It was incredibly powerful.
