This is something of an SCA-survey. Do you think that certain people (for example, Autocrats, Royals, or hosting Baron & Baronesses) should get automatic exemptions from some of our rules? The "Wink, wink, nudge, nudge" treatment towards things that would get someone else kicked offsite or told to correct the situation/their behavior?* How loose/strict are your standards?

And if "easy-going", what sort of "exemptions" do you feel it would be reasonable to ignore? To act on?

I have my own opinion, mind you, but I'd like to know the opinion of others.

*For example, I have heard of a King who snuck a young boy, 17-years-old, into Pennsic in the back of the King's pickup so the kid could fight for his Kingdom in his first battle - when the head troll found out about it and tried to act on it, she was publicly chastised and shamed the following month in the Royal Letter to their Kingdom's newsletter and then brought before the Council of Peers. She and her husband ended up switching their alliance to a different kingdom. As another example, I have seen autocrats serving alcohol at dry sites to their households and guests and have heard about others bringing children who are not their own to the event they were hosting without the required paperwork. Or the fighter who is late for a tourney and breezes past the Troll Booth meaning to check in after the tourney is over... or the same for an A&S teacher late for class or a merchant setting up.
