I bought a sewing machine today, another Janome. I haven't tried it out yet and won't until after we get back from Khural (Great Dark Horde meeting) & Chalice of the Sun God/Coronation. But it is unpacked and sitting in splendor on our kitchen table. I have the urge to name it after the person I'll be voting for this November 'cause it is shiny and new and makes me feel very hopeful but I don't really know how well it is going to perform in the long haul. Most likely, I won't name it anything. But ya never know. Sometimes the whimsy just has to break out.

I'm gonna be a book-herald at Chalice/Coronation. Yep. Not much of one, mind you, just gonna do devices for folks. Have lightboard and

wanderingpixie's Pennsic Traceable Art pics, will travel. That and 150 feet of extension cord, that is. Just in case I really do need the lightboard.

Had a busy Activities night thanks to the aforementioned PTA - left the meeting with five new devices to check for conflicts. Leafing through all those pictures just makes a person want to create art of their own! How great is that?

And I've got a name/device submission to mail off tomorrow. I feel really good about how many people are getting their stuff done but I have to admit, I'm sort of falling behind on all my other projects. I can see that I'll need to re-evaluate my time allotments.

Tomorrow, walking around Mt. Trashmore one last time before the weekend interrupts.
