stitchwhichI bought a sewing machine today, another Janome. I haven't tried it out yet and won't until after we get back from Khural (Great Dark Horde meeting) & Chalice of the Sun God/Coronation. But it is unpacked and sitting in splendor on our kitchen table. I have the urge to name it after the person I'll be voting for this November 'cause it is shiny and new and makes me feel very hopeful but I don't really know how well it is going to perform in the long haul. Most likely, I won't name it anything. But ya never know. Sometimes the whimsy just has to break out.
I'm gonna be a book-herald at Chalice/Coronation. Yep. Not much of one, mind you, just gonna do devices for folks. Have lightboard and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wanderingpixie's Pennsic Traceable Art pics, will travel. That and 150 feet of extension cord, that is. Just in case I really do need the lightboard.
Had a busy Activities night thanks to the aforementioned PTA - left the meeting with five new devices to check for conflicts. Leafing through all those pictures just makes a person want to create art of their own! How great is that?
And I've got a name/device submission to mail off tomorrow. I feel really good about how many people are getting their stuff done but I have to admit, I'm sort of falling behind on all my other projects. I can see that I'll need to re-evaluate my time allotments.
Tomorrow, walking around Mt. Trashmore one last time before the weekend interrupts.
