Just a note

I'm too scatter-brained to draft a real entry... University was grand and the ride to and from with
rwday, her husband, and Lauren was even better. Um, well maybe better - see they were both good in their own outstanding ways. Anyway. (ahem)
I learned a lot about book heraldry and submissions, which I really needed to know and man-oh-man, am I glad to have had a chance to chat with Dame Gwenllian and learn her speed-record conflict checking technique. For all intents and purposes I've been a book herald only since coming home from Pennsic so I have a rather steep learning curve going on here - but it is intriguing, and engrossing, so outside of making my craft-stuff gather dust, I'm enjoying the education.
The two-hour class on "Hammer of the Witches: Witch Hunts and Witch Trials in Period" was very good too - paced well and full of information that didn't make the me that is a researcher, or the me that is a witch, get squirrelly. He cleared misconceptions (on both sides of the faith-equation) clearly and without prejudice, reserving that for the authors of some of the more notorious texts.
Running around in my undies was kinda fun - and kinda embarrassing, but it was for a good reason.
A late lunch with Brigit, a long phone call from my Eldest, and lots of sleep... that has pretty much been my day. THe allergy season is wreaking havoc on my life - I keep trying to claw my cheeks off to get to the itchy areas inside. Not good. (Over sharing?) I hope that a couple more days of Zyrtec will settle the system out. In the meantime, Sudafed and the Neti Pot will have to join forces to make me an easier person to be around.
Speaking of things of that nature... Brigit introduced me to an Atkin's munchie/snack bar that tastes just like a Mounds Bar and told me where she buys hers. You better believe that I'll be visiting that store tomorrow with a fistful of crumpled dollar bills. MMMmmmm.... something NOT "sugar free jello"!
