stitchwhichWednesday was "stage the stuff to be packed in the truck for 'War of the Wings' event" day.
Wow.
That's a lot of stuff. Especially for what is (essentially) a day-and-a-half of event. And I haven't even bought the food yet or the 4-5 bags of sand for the firebox. But this "we're playing "cook over the fire" entails far more cast, rivited and worked iron than I ever expected, much less pottery.
I'm really grateful that Arn rented a trailer.
I think I'm irked that I'm still doing Atkins (even though Brigit pointed me towards some really, really nummy snack bars). I deserve some perry. Or at least some Granny Smith cider. Instead it's "have a Diet Pepsi" for me.
