Off to WalMart
Jul. 11th, 2006 12:02 amThe problem with being a night person is that you are limited to K-Mart or WalMart. Ugh. Okay, then.
I promised Tegan I'd be home for a phone call if she were free, up until midnight. So I've spent the evening sewing and playing on the computer - learning how to us Windows Media Player. I plan on burning some CDs for myself to fill the quiet during the week before land grab... I have a feeling that I'll be turning the music off if there's people around. I'm making at least two albums; "Warble" and "Move It"... one to sing to, and one that is filled with music that always makes me want to get up and move. Neither of those is going to be a polished presentation piece. Irish Folk music is cheek to jowl with Garth Brooks ("The River" and "We Shall Be Free") and coming along somewhere in there are three selections from the soundtrack of _Fame_. Who can resist singing along with "I sing the Body Electric"? Okay, well yeah, there's you. But I can't.
So now that it's after midnight, I'm off to WalMart to find CDs with those little music notes on them that are supposed to mean, "Record music on me, I'm so faithful that I'm called 'fidelity'. Really. Trust me."
Heh. Maybe tomorrow when Kat comes over to sew, I'll subject her to MY idea of what to listen to while working... Led Zep, it isn't. *cough* Okay then. Led Zep it won't be for _tomorrow_. Just to watch her react. Heh. Maybe I'll play _Extreme_'s "Pornograffitty" and follow it up with a nice rocking Bagpipe-featuring Celtic Rock band. I'll have to think about it.
hey - I've got Bette Midler and Bobby McFarrin... hmmmm.... she'd kill me.
